Family seeks live
Are you a completely fearless human looking to make some extra cash? Well, we've found the perfect job for you.
A family living in the Scottish Borders is looking for a new live-in nanny, and are willing to pay £50,000 ($63,765) for the right candidate.
According to the job listing on Childcare.co.uk, the nanny would care for a 5-year-old and a 7-year-old, including preparing their breakfast, getting them ready for school, assisting them with homework, and getting them ready for bed. The house is described as a "lovely, spacious, historic property in a remote spot with spectacular views," and the successful applicant would have their very own bedroom, en-suite bathroom, and private kitchen.

"We have lived in our home for nearly 10 years," the listing states. "We were told it was 'haunted' when we bought it, but kept our minds open and decided to buy the house regardless."
OK, well this doesn't mean it's actuallyhaunted, right?
"Five nannies have left the role in the last year, each citing supernatural incidents as the reason, including strange noises, broken glass and furniture moving."
Uh... yeah, this family has a ghost problem for sure.
Although the listing continues by stating that the family has never witnessed any supernatural occurrences in the house with their own eyes, the five spooked nannies that've quit say they've seen spooky things happening while the family was out of the house. The writer goes on to say, "This has obviously been a period of great upheaval for our children."
What we imagine this family's spooky ghost friend looks like.Credit: Bundit Yuwannasiri/shutterstock“When we saw the advert, we were stunned," Richard Conway, CEO of Childcare.co.uk, told The Telegraph. "Some of the guys at HQ were skeptical, but after talking to the family and their previous employees we realized it was a genuine position. We have hundreds of thousands of providers on the site and we’re hoping that one of them will be able to help them"
He continues, "We’ve had some weird and wonderful families find childcare providers through the site, however I think this is probably the most interesting story we’ve heard."
If you're wondering whether or not the supposed ghost is friendly, Conway explains, "The family has assured us that no harm has come to anyone living in the house, however the nanny will have to have a strong disposition.”
So, if you've exhausted all your other options, have always dreamed of living in your very own horror movie, and don't mind sharing your room with a nanny-hating ghost, give this family a ring. But have your résumé ready and give the family some warning if they suddenly have to find their seventh caretaker.
