Trump says 'Facebook was always anti
President Donald Trump wants the world to believe he won the 2016 presidential election on his own perhaps even more than he wants to be praised on the TV, so all this stuff about Facebook ads boosting his shot at the White House obviously doesn't sit well with him.
Trump tweeted on Wednesday that Facebook is, in fact, the enemy, and suggested maybe the platform colluded with media outlets he also views as the enemy — offering no evidence, of course.

Facebook recently agreed to hand over 3,000 Russia-linked ads to congressional committees investigating Moscow's influence on the 2016 presidential election. These ads have been described as pro-Trump and anti-Hillary Clinton, Trump's Democratic rival.
These ads, along with Twitter bots linked to Moscow, appear to be part of a larger propaganda operation run by the Russian government that aimed at deepening a rift in American politics. Similar operations went on prior to national elections in France and Germany this year, although not to as great an extent or effect.
While these Facebook ads have been described as pro-Trump, company CEO Mark Zuckerberg has been mildly critical of the president's vitriolic immigration ideas and policies. Zuckerberg has called for keeping the nation's door open to refugees, and criticized Trump's moves encouraging the deportation of undocumented immigrants.
